Mystic Regen is not the problem, its the other enchantments the E/D or */D tanks use that creates a problem. Mystic Regen is really only a depent Healing Breeze, its Stoneflesh Aura, Armor of Earth, Aura of the Lich, etc. that make people QQ over Mystic Regen. Enchantment removal or counters to these particular enchantments is ftw.

As for Shadow Form, its hardly a broken ability. Skills, shouts, AoE, and non targettable effects still go thru it and the assassin is in a very weak state after it ends. This skill may have been abusable when Deadly Paradox(a skill that actually needed a nerf) was not nerfed, but now its nothing to cry about.

Skills are just Skills, because people use a Skill for annoyance epurposes does not eman it should be broken.

ABing during the double faction weekend, I saw my fair share of them. To me those builds make you waste time on them, because they can cap a shrine eventually on their own with their offense, they are a threat and hard to ignore. If you are not prepared, you will waste 20-30s killing them, which is bad.

After encountering a few of them, I brought Rend Enchantments. Even by myself I would often kill them before they could get enough enchants back up, or they would run because they were unexperienced players using a build they found on a site. If I had my team with me, they were dead in seconds after being Rended.

With that, I agree Mystic Regen should be moved to Mysticism, heck, the name even fits nicely with the attribute. It's been due for a long time, the skill is being abused.

The only thing worthy of touching on Mystic Regeneration is the recharge time. Realistically you want to interrupt, knockdown, or remove Stoneflesh Aura or Dark Bond on the 'hard to kill' templates, both of which have two second cast times with long recharges. I don't know what character you could bring that wouldn't be better off with an interrupt, a knockdown, or an enchant strip if it didn't already have one besides a pure Monk or equivalent.

During the AB Weekend, I saw way too many E/D Fire Eles running around with the same skill bar:

It was ridiculous. Like at least 4-5 on each side. There is something wrong when 1/3 of the players run the same build in AB. Seriously Anet, move it Mysticism.

Though, the armor bonus, blurred vision, snares, and mending touch have a pretty big part in that too.

Mystic Regen eles aren't that big of deal though. They're easy enough to kill if you have any enchant strips, kds, or interrupts for the stoneflesh aura.. If any of these retarded RA tanks should be nerfed, it's the arcane echo + shadow form sins who really don't have many reasonable counters. And honestly, those are most annoying when they're on your team and you can't leave after you've lost because of dishonor being such a dumb system. You have to watch them tank for 6 minutes and usually fail to kill anything. They can't really deal a whole lot of damage and still be able to maintain their shadow form, and they usually don't have a lot of slots to work with offensively either. But it really does an excellent job of dragging the match out way longer than it should be.

It shouldn't be to hard to take down an E/D especially if a Mesmer is in the group.Healing Breeze was just buffed which makes it better than before so other farming builds are still good not just the Mo/D it is just overrated atm.I still use /W and /Mes and now/E.

Changing the recharge time would be okay, but I would not change the cast time. In PvE Dervish's are supposed to be dealing damage, you sort of negate that by giving long cast times on support skills.

(I'm not saying you said to change the cast, but I wanted to point that out.)

when your in RA with those E/D , have your team focus on the oher memebrs , after they all die , all focus on the E/D and hell be dead .
